Numinus

Numinus is the founder and first initiate of the Black Flame — a complete system for diagnosing human fracture and rebuilding sovereignty through direct embodiment.

Born in 1990 to immigrant parents — raised inside Christianity, the military, and modern American culture before he had the capacity to audit any of them.

At 17 he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Over the next eleven years he advanced from aircraft engine technician to instructor, quality assurance inspector, and resiliency coordinator across multiple platforms including the F-35 program.

Two trajectories ran simultaneously throughout:

By his mid-20s the internal fracture became structurally visible — two identity configurations in direct conflict. A creative, spiritual, expressive orientation on one side. A hardened institutional identity on the other. The military responded with diagnosis: BPD and Bipolar II with psychotic features. Heavy medication followed. He remained in service four years after the split was identified, medicated and functioning. He left in 2020.

What followed was a deliberate reconstruction process spanning four years.

He audited every available system — religion, philosophy, somatic practice, men's frameworks, therapy. None provided architecture sufficient to close the gap between understanding and lived reality. Over a two-year period he engaged plant medicines used in visionary and initiatory contexts across African and Asian lineages, returning to ancestral practice as a method of mapping the layers of his own psyche. The work revealed structure. It could not sustain transformation. He identified this as a form of spiritual bypassing and shifted toward biological and environmental reconstruction.

He eliminated long-standing substance dependencies. He reversed four chronic conditions — Bipolar II, tachycardia, hyperthyroidism, and kidney disease — without pharmaceutical intervention, through environmental architecture and self-directed biological study. The VA had withdrawn healthcare access. He fixed himself.

At 32 a specific moment of recognition occurred that would become the origin point of the Black Flame. Separate domains — biological, psychological, spiritual — began converging. Documentation began. The system was lived first, mapped second, named as it became coherent.

The split that became visible in his mid-20s is resolved. He lives integrated — as an artist, a martial artist, and a family man.
